At Abernathy United, we believe the church isn’t something we attend, it’s a family we belong to. Partnership is our way of living that out. It’s not about membership for its own sake, but about joining together in love, unity, and mission as followers of Jesus. Partnership at Abernathy United is all about growing deeper in our relationship with Christ and with one another. It’s rooted in Scripture—modeled after the early church in Acts and Philippians 1—and focuses on caring for one another, being shepherded biblically, and living as active disciples rather than consumers of faith. Partnership isn’t required to serve, but it helps us walk together in unity as the body of Christ.
